Flora Women's Mini Marathon 2011

 

The Flora Women's Mini Marathon takes place on Monday 6th June 2011.

 

Why not walk, run or jog in this years Mini-Marathon as part of the

 

Irish Wheelchair Association Team?

 

Help to raise vital funds to maintain the essential services IWA provides throughout the country.

 

 

Registration closes on 27th April 2011. Please contact our Fundraising Team at 01 818 6469 or email: marathons@iwa.ie when you have registered and we will send you on a mini-marathon pack which includes a sponsorhip card and t-shirt.

IWA is an important provider of quality services to people with limited mobility throughout the country. Together we work to achieve greater independence, freedom and choice for people living with a disability. IWA has a broad range of services for people with physical disabilities, these include:

Persons with a physical disability living in the community.

What makes your service different to that provided by others?

Our services are person centred, we encourage our service users to become actively involved in the planning and delivery of their own services. The services are provided in the individuals' homes and communities, facilitating community participation, access to education/employment and improved quality of life. The service enables users to have maximum control of their own services.

What is your specific expertise?

My specific expertise is Resource and Outreach services, Information and responsible for the School of motoring in Donegal
