Brainwave is happy to announce a New Epilepsy help Line from the Sligo Office, The Model, The Mall, Sligo.

This helpline will run on Friday morning : 9.30 to 13.00 hrs.

Eithne Cawley, Clinical Nurse Specialist in Epilepsy has joined Dr Kevin Murphy’s( Consultant Neurologist SGH) neurology team at Sligo General Hospital, and will be running the Brainwave help line on Friday mornings.

Describe the type of service you deliver

Some of the services we provide : Awareness, information and support, Education, Advocacy, and helpline. TFS Training for young people with epilepsy , takes place in Sligo It.

All people with epilepsy, their families, friends, and carers,.

 

 

What makes your service different to that provided by others?

Our service is specific, and tailored for people with epilepsy.

Information and Support re Epilepsy.

How long are you involved in the sector?

18years.

How would you like to interact with other providers in future (if applicable)?

I feel that networking with other service providers is  vital for those of us who work alone.
